Aloha! I’m Nina, the creator of The Aloha Blog. I started this blog back in 2021 when I returned home to Florida after my gap year. I have always had a passion for writing and taking photos. I knew starting a blog would be the perfect place to share my travel experiences.

A Little Bit About Me

After graduating high school in 2020, I took a leap of faith and traveled to Hawaii. I fell in love with Hawaii; from the culture to the beautiful landscapes, the islands have it all. I loved it so much, I ended up moving there and staying for a couple of years. My adventures in Hawaii truly made me realize my passion for traveling, and this blog is where I get to share my carefully curated travel guides with you!

I am an adventure lover and water woman at heart! I feel most at home when I’m close to the ocean. In fact, most of my hobbies revolve around the water, even my photography! I am also a communication major, which probably isn’t too hard to guess. Currently, I’m obtaining my master’s in Strategic Communication and Leadership. I love using my communication skills in collaboration with others. For example, my Women Who Wander series!

Since starting this blog, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to some amazing destinations and have some incredible experiences.
