San Diego California Travel Guide
Hey everyone! I recently went on a trip to California with my family and wanted to share some of the things we did. It was my first time in California and I absolutely loved it. We stayed in San Diego while we were there and it was beautiful. La Jolla On the first day of our trip we went to La Jolla. We started at the cove where we saw some sea lions and from there we walked along the sidewalk on the coast. Next to the sidewalk, there’s a grassy area where lots of people were hanging out. While walking, we saw lots of sea cliffs, beautiful houses, and…

Algarve Portugal Itinerary
First and foremost, I want to give a huge thank you to my neighbors Jim and Kelly for letting Kiley and I stay in their beautiful home and being amazing hosts! Seriously, you guys are the best! For those of you who don’t know, Portugal is my grandmother’s homeland so being able to come here and explore this beautiful country with my sister was a very special experience. Day 1 During our trip Kiley and I stayed in Albufeira. We spent our first full day just walking around, specifically in the Old Town. Old Town is rich with history and has a ton of cool shops and restaurants. The historic…

Balance is Key for Success
Hi friends! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! That being said, holiday season has officially started and as we all know, this time of year can be a bit stressful. Between finishing my first semester of college, starting a new job, and spending time with friends, I can say my life has been pretty hectic lately. However, I’ve come to realize that balance is key. Thankfully, I have a bit of a break this week and found some time to write. If you’ve been stressed out over school or work lately, remember to take time for yourself! I have two weeks until i’m officially done with my first semester…

Hikes Worth Doing in Oahu
As some of you may know, I have openly expressed my hatred for hiking in the past. However, it’s starting to grow on me. I’ve done a few that I actually really enjoyed and want to share with all of you. Without further ado here are my top 5 favorite hikes in Oahu. 5. Maili Pillbox aka “Pink Pillbox” Maili Pillbox is on the west side of Oahu and is known for its bright pink bunker. This hike is about 1.5 miles and is pretty steep, so you’ll get a good work out. Once you reach the top of the ridge you’ll have a panoramic view of the ocean and…

Going Back to School After a Gap year
When I told a lot of people I was planning on taking a gap year, some people didn’t think i’d actually end up going to school. However, I just finished my first week of college classes and it went pretty well. I took an English class over summer while working full time and ended up getting an A in that class. I actually wrote about my gap year in multiple assignments! After taking some time off from school I feel more motivated to do well in my classes. My last year of high school I had a severe case of senioritis. I absolutely dreaded doing any type of school work.…

Your Reminder to Never Give Up
One of the reasons I started this blog is to help people, even if that just means making them smile while reading my post. I also want to say thank you to everyone who takes the time out of their day to read my blog! In today’s post I want to remind everyone to never give up. If you’re going through something right now just remember it’s temporary. Everyone on social media post themselves living their best life and I’m sure a lot of people look at my instagram and think I have a perfect life, which is far from the truth. I have so much to be grateful for…
